What Riot Has Officially Confirmed About Hush
Riot Games introduced Hush, VALORANT's newest Duelist from Guangdong, China, on October 18, 2026 via the RISE AND FALL Agent Trailer posted to official channels. That trailer is the only endorsed visual reference for the character.
Beyond the reveal itself, four things are locked in: the Duelist role, the Guangdong origin, the Season 26 Act VI placement, and the trailer as official media. Ability names, costs, and damage values have not been published, which means any leak listing precise numbers is working from placeholder data.
Latest Leak Roundup by Category
- Telekinetic kit leaks — community posts describe floating shards and force-based displacement, but the official ability names are now public; treat every number as a placeholder guess.
- Release timing leaks — October 27, 2026 is widely cited and lines up with how Act VI rollouts have historically worked, though Riot has issued no final schedule.
- Cosmetics leaks — player card and spray rumors circulate on Reddit with no images verified through official channels; battle pass inclusion remains unconfirmed.
The rumor mill tends to cluster into three buckets. Each one has a different reliability profile.
How to Verify a Hush Leak Yourself
Start at the official channelsOpen the VALORANT news page and the Agents page. If the claim is absent from both, it is unverified — full stop.
Trace the original sourceCredible leaks cite datamine pulls, PBE files, or credentialed reporters. Anonymous "friend at Riot" posts carry no evidentiary weight.
Test it against known factsMatch the claim to confirmed details: Duelist role, Guangdong origin, telekinetic identity, Act VI window. Contradictions usually expose fabrications.
Wait for the gameplay revealRiot typically publishes complete ability breakdowns near launch. Verified numbers overwrite every guess the moment official pages update.
Run this four-step check whenever a new Hush claim lands in your feed or Discord server.
Expected Kit Design Against Current Duelists
| Duelist | Defining Strength | How Hush May Differ |
|---|---|---|
| Jett | Vertical mobility, Operator synergy | Trades raw speed for telekinetic space creation |
| Raze | Explosive close-range clearing | Overlaps if the kit includes displacement utility |
| Neon | Sustained forward pressure | Likely more burst-oriented, less run-and-gun |
| Hush | Telekinetic disruption (unconfirmed) | Provisional until patch notes publish |
